Sue Dupre is based in New Jersey, and has been calling English country dances, contras, and squares for over 35 years. She's been a featured performer at various festivals and dance weekends, and has been a staff member at summer dance camps at Pinewoods (MA), Mendocino (CA), Berea (KY), Buffalo Gap (WV), and Ogontz (NH). Sue is known for enthusiasm and good humor, for an extensive repertoire representing the best of the old and the new, for clear and efficient teaching, and for her work with novice dancers. Sue has worked extensively with re-enactors from various eras, especially the Revolutionary and Civil Wars. In addition to her work as a caller, Sue is passionately devoted to the promotion and performance of historic English ritual and ceremonial dances in American communities.

Nan Evans, from the rainy Pacific Northwest, has been a caller of both English country and contra dances for many years. She is well known for clear teaching, a warm and welcoming style, and a love of dances that flow--whether highly spirited or beautifully graceful. Nan has been a featured caller at Lady of the Lake, at Monte Toyon, NW Folklife and at the Heather and Rose Suttle Lake Camp. Nan also served on the national board of the Country Dance and Song Society for six years.

Laurie Andres - Music Director. Laurie has been a musician and caller for over 30 years. He picks the perfect match of musicians for each workshop. We have the best musicians in the Northwest, and Laurie superbly combines them for your dancing pleasure. With this year's combination of caller, musicians, and sound engineer, your dancing experience will be unparalleled.
